All prices listed are for personal use. Please contact us to find out more regarding to commercial use commissions.

Turnaround Times:
4x6", 5x7" drawings - 2 weeks.
8x10" drawings - 3 weeks.

A rush fee will be charged for commissions that requires less than the regular working time frame. Rush fees will vary depending on when the customer need the finished work.

Things we will not be able to draw:
Mecha/deformity related styles. Let us know if you are unsure whether your commission falls under this category. We have the right to decline a commission that may deem inappropriate / commissioner not following the terms and/or stated prices.

Size of Drawings:
All drawings comes in the format of Inches as follows: 4x6", 5x7", and 8x10" at high resolution 300dpi (print friendly quality) or at a lower resolution of 200dpi (computer/tablet/phone view friendly). You are welcome to order a specific size or a lower resolution other than the ones listed for a different price quote.

Payment:
Currency: USD (U.S.A. Dollars).
Payment can made via Paypal or Payoneer.
Paypal fees are never added to the commissioner’s total cost.
Payment must be made whole prior to start of commission.

How to Order:
Contact us to request a commission, get a quote, or to inquire. Please include at least 1 image of reference - it can either be a link or attached to the email. We will get back to you asap with the total price, along with any information we might need that will help us when working on your commission. Once the commission request and we will let you know where to send the commission payment to.

There will be 3 WIP (work in progress) preview that will be delivered to commissioner for review: sketch, lineart, and base colors. Pencil drawing will include: sketch, lineart, final shading. Commissioner may request up to 3 changes per preview at no additional cost:

  • Sketch preview: revisions include the following: pose change, expression change, add/remove props,    additional background, etc.
     

  • Lineart preview: revisions include the following: expression change, add/remove clothing elements.
     

  • Base colors preview/Final shading: revisions include change of colors and shading only. Pose & background cannot be changed at this stage without additional cost as it requires rework of entire commission. Please remember to request any revisions on pose & background during the sketch process.
     

After all WIP’s are approved and revisions made I will finish the commission and deliver the high resolution image via email.

You Will Receive:
Digital commissions: 300dpi high resolution/ or 200dpi low resolution digital image in PNG format. Traditional commissions: 300dpi high resolution scan in JPEG format.

Traditional originals can be mailed to you with an additional shipping charge. Shipping from Taiwan to everywhere else is $7.00 USD in Registered Airmail that may take up to 3-4 weeks for international delivery. Your commission will be carefully inserted in clear plastic cello bag and mailed with a study bubble envelope. Upgrade to EMS (Express) shipping is available upon request.

Commission Terms: By commissioning BeagleCakes Art & Illustration, commissioners agree to the terms stated below.

Work:
Work is final, deliverable art, and not any preliminary work or sketches. Sketches will be provided for the commissioner's approval only.

Price & Delivery:
The payment is a non-refundable flat-fee for Work. Payment must be made in full or in two halves before any work begins. Payment should be made in the method specified by Artist. Work is to be delivered within a reasonable time frame agreed between Artist and Commissioner unless otherwise specified.

Grant of Rights:
Artist agrees to the non-exclusive license of rights given to the commissioner. For personal commissions: including, the right to display and modify, without a profit being made. For commercial commissions, including, but not limited to, the right to display, modify, transmit, transfer, sell, and create derivative works, but excluding only the right to authorship credit, which is retained by Artist. Artist agrees that Work is produced with the intent it be unique and will not seek to resell or publish Work, except as noted below.

Artist's Right to Authorship Credit:
Artist retains the right to use completed Work in Artist's portfolio (including, but not limited to, digital websites that display Artist's works). Commissioner and Artist agree that when asked, Commissioner must properly identify Artist as the creator of Work. Commissioner may not seek to mislead others that Work was created by anyone other than Artist.

Commissioner Accepts Artist's Creative Vision:
Commissioner agrees that Artist will complete Work in Artist's creative style at Artist's sole discretion. If Commissioner refuses to receive Work or demands Work be redone, it is understood and agreed that Commissioner is cancelling the Agreement, and no fee will be refunded.

Cancellation & Expiration:
Fee for Work is non-refundable. If at any time commissioner wishes to cancel, or does not want or refuses to receive Work, Artist may choose whether or not to complete Work, and will retain exclusive right to the Work. This agreement will only expires if it is withdrawn by Artist, either verbally or through writing - including, but not limited to, e-mail or text chat.

Limitation of Liability:
Commissioner agrees that Artist will not be liable for any damages (including, but not limited to, incidental or consequential damages), that arise from Artist's performance of this commission (including, but not limited to, failure to perform in a timely manner, regardless of whether the failure was intentional or negligent.)

Third Party Shipping:
In the event the original piece/or any material necessary for the production of the project must be shipped to client/or to a third party for additional typesetting, processing, photographic work, color separation, press work, or binding, Artist will incur no liability for losses incurred in transit, or due to the delay of the shipper or the third party.
